Jay J. Palermo: Lead/Rhythm/Guitarist/Keyboards  – From selling pencils at the airport during the day to rocking out at night! Playing guitar and gigging the Rochester music scene for 40 years.  Recording Artist, Guitarist, Songwriter, Multi-Instrumentalist, Producer. Has recorded & produced for many other artists, commercials, voice overs and movies all over the US Including Wegmans, ABC Radio, Brian Mcnight, Liz Fawcette & Bitter Flesh. Just to name a few.  Recorded three solo albums & four albums with other artists currently being streamed everywhere music is available online which Includes Pop, Country, Rock, Metal, Instrumental & Industrial Music.  Has played on two KISS tribute albums that included Robby Takac (Goo Goo Dolls) Dean Castronva (Journey) Bumblefoot (Guns & Roses) Jeff Scott Soto (TSO & Yngwie Mamlsteen) & Billy Sheen. Has opened for many national acts such as Dokken, Cinderella, Bullet Boys & Killer Dwarfs. Has jammed with 90’s rockers Saigon Kick live in Buffalo, NY (Career highlight) As well as taking lessons from the world famous Steve Vai.  Associates Degree in Music. Comprehensive studies in classical guitar at the famed Hochstein School of Music. Studies include jazz, classical piano, vocal, ear training, music history & performance.  Current & previous bands include, From Blue Ruins, Typhoid Mary, Jay Palermo & The Abstract Band.  Jaded Heart, Parris, BLVD Brat, Comadrome, Slap Dash, Damone, Nick & The Nice Guys & OCTANE!!
